Despite a day of persistent rain the Duffield Churches put on a tremendous spread once again this year for the village BBQ, albeit at the Catholic Church, rather than on Eyes Meadow. Delicious sausages, and tasty burgers, accompanied by an assortment of appetising salads were enjoyed by all, along with an amazing array of lovely cakes.
The organ grinder again entertained us on his fascinating machine, with music by Strauss and many other notable composers.
