Roll up, roll up…..
It’s Carnival time again so lets get in the party mood, and enjoy the best of the summer. There’s something for everyone during our week of Carnival events and on the day itself, Saturday 28th June, lots of live entertainment awaits you. The week will follow the usual format, starting with the Treasure Hunt on Sunday 22nd.

Your annual Carnival Week is run by a small band of volunteers for the benefit of everyone in the Duffield Community.
You may be surprised to read that to stage Carnival Week costs well over £10,000 – the hire of marquees, toilets, generators, acts, artistes, printing programmes and much more. All proceeds raised by the Carnival go towards covering this, with anything left over going back to the village – so please do pay for your admission and don’t begrudge a profit on the beer.
All the people you see putting things up, collecting litter/glasses, marshalling are unpaid volunteers. So give them a hand…a smile….or an hour of your time.
It takes hours of unseen hard work and planning to bring you the programme of events that make Carnival week the highlight it is. We hope you will join in the fun.
