CARNIVAL DAY 2026
Carnival Day 2026 is on Saturday June 27th.
The theme this year is celebrating WORLD CUP NATIONS
Lets hope there are lots of exciting procession entries
Entry is by ticket. Advance purchase tickets are discounted! So get your Early Bird tickets before the start of Carnival Week.

Discounted Early Bird tickets (£5) will be available until 21st June.
From Monday 22nd June, tickets will cost £7.50.

12:15 Procession assembles on Avenue Road
12:45 Procession leaves Avenue Road, travelling down Hazelwood Road and King Street, onto Town Street, and then onto Eyes Meadow.
Arena Acts & Attractions:
13:30 – 14:00 Procession arrives on Eyes Meadow. The Carnival will be opened by John Rowlands, former Chair of Carnival Committee.

15:20 – 15:40 Vision Dance

16:30 – 17:30 Village Games: Tug of War, and Egg Catching, if time allows

DOG SHOW, hosted by tbd, starts at 3pm
Classes are:
1. Best junior handler.
2. Best Biscuit catcher.
3. Prettiest pooch.
4. Dog most like it’s owner.
5. Waggiest tail.
6. Scruffiest dog.
7. Dog judge wants to take home.
8. Best in class.
Register at the Dog Show Arena on the day, before 3pm.
£2.50 entry per class. Enter all 8 and get one free.
All entrants will receive a doggy bag.
1st, 2nd and 3rd for first 7 classes. 1 winner for class 8.
Cash or card payment. (50p charge for card)
Doggy Hamper raffle.
